BCV offers personalized investment advice to private clients

BCV, a leading cantonal private bank in Vaud serving clients with CHF 250,000+ in assets, needed a digital advice channel that was easy to implement, highly customizable to client expectations, and scalable to future needs. The bank sought a solution to complement its relationship managers, support an ongoing-advice charging model for regulatory compliance, and deliver personalized investment guidance under the BCV Conseil Plus brand. To meet these goals BCV selected Backbase and its Digital Engagement platform.

Backbase’s Digital Engagement platform was customized (with Capgemini) to deliver BCV Conseil Plus in a seven‑month build, providing portfolio diagnostics, automated advice and rebalancing suggestions, relationship‑manager remote access, and customizable wealth widgets and integration/security layers. The simplicity of Backbase sped developer onboarding and team scaling (to 20–25 people within weeks) and drove rapid adoption: five months after launch over 25% of BCV’s targeted private clients had migrated to the platform, while enabling the bank to support a new recurring‑advice charging model and improved client experience.
