Aldermore, a UK specialist lender and savings bank with 230,000 customers, 1,000 employees and a £8.1bn lending portfolio, needed to streamline customer interactions and integrate functionality across digital channels and third‑party connections. To achieve an omnichannel, reusable solution for SMEs, brokers and retail customers, Aldermore turned to Backbase to build a customer experience platform using Backbase components, portals and multi‑user account capabilities.

Backbase implemented dashboard overviews, reusable security and form components, quick-launch online enquiry forms and a broker portal that supports quotes, the full proposal lifecycle, deal tracking and document generation for signatures. The Backbase solution delivered ongoing enquiries (online forms still in operation for invoice finance and mortgages), consistent broker usage of the portal and reusable capabilities that speed new product and channel rollouts, increasing Aldermore’s agility across business lines.
