La Marzocco, a global manufacturer of coffee machines with 800 employees, faced the challenge of fostering fluent cross-cultural communication within its international teams. Much of its internal and external communication occurred in English, and the company sought a digital, flexible, and effective language learning solution from a vendor. They needed to move beyond previous in-person classes to a program that would allow employees to design their own individual learning paths and sharpen their Business English or learn new languages.

The vendor, Babbel for Business, provided its Babbel Live solution to meet this need. The platform gave employees the flexibility to take classes on their own schedule and choose from 14 different languages. The inclusion of both 1:1 and group live classes created a comfortable environment for practicing conversation and getting used to different accents. From an organizational perspective, the company valued the solution's excellent value for money and the quality of Babbel's customer success support, which empowered employees to autonomously begin their language learning journeys.
