Soletanche Bachy Canada, one of North America’s largest geotechnical contractors, needed to replace slow, complex Excel-based estimating to manage larger bids, integrate with accounting, increase repeatability, save time and scale for growth. A five-person estimating team required the ability to work concurrently, run multiple alternate scenarios for subcontractor negotiations, and eliminate the minutes-long slowdowns caused by heavy macros.
After a four-month vendor review they implemented B2W Estimate and B2W Track as a unified platform. The solution enabled simultaneous multi-user estimating, rapid scenario analysis (five–six alternates in minutes), and a direct feedback loop from field tracking to improve future estimates. Rollout was smooth with strong vendor support, and the company reports faster, more efficient bidding and a measurable increase in bid win rate.
