A B2Gnow Case Study
The City of Fort Worth's Business Equity Division faced significant inefficiencies in its efforts to achieve its diversity goals. Operating on an outdated, in-house system, its processes were almost entirely manual, leading to overflowing file cabinets, excessive use of faxes and mail, and high administrative costs. This cumbersome system caused delays, with staff often taking several days to manually record and file documents, hindering the division's effectiveness.
To address this, the city implemented B2Gnow Diversity Management Software. After first streamlining its internal processes, the city utilized B2Gnow's configurable modules for vendor management, goal setting, contract compliance, and proposals. The results were substantial annual savings, including a reduction in copier costs from $4,000 to $900 and postage costs from $200 to $5. The city became fully automated and 100% paperless, eliminating overtime pay and safety issues associated with manual filing while greatly improving efficiency.
