The challenge was to efficiently manage the continuous flow of garbage trucks and tractor-trailers, requiring a system that could automate data capture, improve accuracy, and reduce manual processes for drivers and operators.

B-TEK's solution involved installing a comprehensive system featuring Centurion truck scales, SKYNET 2050 self-service kiosks, RFID readers, and ScaleSoft Unattended Terminal Software. The system automated the entire weighing process; RFID tags automatically identified trucks and retrieved tare weights, while the software integrated with the facility's internal systems. This B-TEK implementation created a seamless, unattended operation that accelerated truck processing, ensured weighing accuracy, and provided drivers with printed tickets upon exit.
