The customer, Michelli Weighing & Measurement, faced the challenge of needing a highly durable and accurate truck scale for a busy waste transfer station that experiences nonstop, heavy traffic. They turned to vendor B-TEK for a solution and selected the Centurion steel deck truck scale for its proven reliability in similar demanding environments.
B-TEK implemented a retrofit solution by installing a 70' x 10' digital Centurion scale into the station's existing pit, eliminating the need for foundation modifications. The scale was paired with a DD700 indicator and a SuperBright2 remote display. This B-TEK solution successfully keeps the entire operation moving by handling constant traffic while seamlessly feeding real-time weight data to the station's computers for processing and invoicing.
