Michelli Weighing & Measurement, a dealer in Bakersfield, CA, needed a solution for their agricultural customer who faced the challenge of handling the intense, high-volume demands of a short harvest season for almonds and pistachios. The vendor, B-TEK, provided portable truck scales to offer the temporary but substantial capacity increase required to keep operations running smoothly and meet delivery commitments.
B-TEK implemented a solution consisting of four Centurion Digital Portable Truck Scales, ramps, and DD700 Indicators, all driven by CPD-M Load Cells. The portable scales were quickly delivered and set up, with three scales operational after the initial site visit and the fourth integrated just two days later. This allowed the agricultural operation to successfully manage its concentrated production timeline, ensuring the harvest stayed on track and annual customer demand was met.
