TrueCredit - Customer Case Study

TrueCredit, a provider of consumer and institutional credit and debt services, was struggling to scale its Java-based SOA applications as growing workloads and the FACT Act free-report demand caused out-of-memory errors, long garbage-collection pauses and SLA risk. They needed a solution that could quickly provision multiple applications across a shared resource pool and allocate/reallocate memory in milliseconds, so TrueCredit engaged Azul Systems and its Azul JVM and Compute Appliances.

Azul Systems deployed the Azul JVM and pooled Compute Appliances (network-attached processing) to stabilize performance and scale capacity. The result: TrueCredit now supports at least 50% more users, manages 75% fewer servers (consolidating server resources by a factor of four), and reports a 400% improvement in asset productivity, while reducing TCO and meeting federally mandated SLAs and compliance.
