Creditex, the global market leader in credit derivatives execution and processing, needed to eliminate long Java pause times, meet stringent low-latency and high-throughput response requirements, and scale its RealTime trading platform to handle rapidly growing users and transactions. To solve this, Creditex chose Azul Systems and deployed Azul Compute Appliances (Vega Series) along with Azul’s RealTime Performance Monitoring to improve Java performance and reliability.

Azul Systems implemented the appliances in a pilot and moved them to production, eliminating garbage-collection pauses, providing a large memory footprint, and enabling the platform to support over 800 users in production with the ability to scale much higher without code or infrastructure changes. Azul Systems’ RTPM sped problem diagnosis without restarts, delivering more consistent response times and improved throughput — with vendor claims of 5X–50X performance gains — and Creditex reported that the management tools and engineering support met client needs.
