Belk, Inc., a North American retail/eCommerce company, was experiencing Java scalability problems and inconsistent response times on belk.com during peak loads. To address this challenge, Belk partnered with AZUL SYSTEMS and deployed the Azul JVM as part of an infrastructure upgrade for its Escalate Retail–based site.

AZUL SYSTEMS’ Azul JVM was implemented across Belk’s upgraded eCommerce platform, enabling the site to better absorb peak holiday traffic and stabilize performance. As a result, Belk reported more effective handling of high-volume sales periods and improved overall technology capability for peak seasons.
