Corix Utilities, a provider of water, wastewater and sustainable energy system services with a 77-vehicle field fleet, needed full visibility into vehicle and driver performance but found its prior GPS solution too costly to deploy fleet-wide (it covered only about 30% of vehicles). Variable contract lengths—from six months to multiple years—also required a flexible telematics solution that could adapt to their business needs.

In March 2015 Corix implemented Azuga’s plug-and-play telematics and fleet management suite (including Fleet, Scheduled Maintenance, SpeedSafe, FuelSave and mobile tools) with tailored contracts. The rollout delivered $100,000 in savings on installation/uninstallation costs, improved driver productivity through better monitoring, and reduced speeding, accidents, fuel use, idling and hard braking while enabling geofencing, safety alerts and scheduled maintenance.
