An electrical converter warehouse in the eastern U.S. required a highly reliable HVAC system to cool its critical power conversion equipment, which generates significant heat. Their challenge was to design a system that would prevent overheating and ensure consistent operation under various conditions. To meet this engineering challenge, they employed Azore CFD simulation software for advanced modeling.
Azore CFD provided a solution using Computational Fluid Dynamics to model and optimize the facility's cooling design. The software was used to analyze temperature and airflow patterns, size the air conditioning system, and eliminate hot spots. As a result of using Azore's efficient analysis and processing tools, the optimized cooling system was successfully implemented, and the facility has been operating reliably since fall 2019.
