DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau (DCVB) sought to drive awareness, visitation, and overnight stays for its DuPage Road Trip campaign. A key challenge was proving the campaign's true effectiveness beyond standard metrics like impressions and clicks; they needed quantifiable proof that their ads were driving people to actually visit local attractions, hotels, and restaurants. To address this, they turned to the ad solutions and consumer behavior data from Azira.
Azira implemented a solution using custom audience targeting, focusing on users in 14 feeder markets who had visited places like art galleries and botanical gardens. The campaign drove audiences to a dedicated event page and, crucially, Azira tracked subsequent real-world visitation patterns. The results were significant, generating 1.17 million impressions, 4.3K website clicks, and, most importantly, observed visits from over 14,000 exposed users to DuPage's points of interest, providing clear ROI that surpassed the DCVB's previous capabilities.
