The Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau sought to boost tourism by attracting out-of-town fans to its hotels and restaurants during Notre Dame football games. Their challenge was moving beyond traditional billboard advertising to a digital campaign and, most importantly, finding a way to accurately measure the actual visitation impact of their efforts, which had been difficult with their previous methods.
Using Azira's targeted digital advertising and audience segmentation based on consumer movement data, the bureau focused on sports fans in key markets. Azira's solution drove traffic to a deals website and, crucially, provided quantifiable proof of ROI by tracking post-ad visitor patterns. The Azira campaign delivered 1.2 million impressions, 5,700 clicks, and, most significantly, drove 3,624 verified visitors to the county, far exceeding initial goals.
