Kildare County Council, a county authority near Dublin, needed to move away from a legacy desktop GIS and Active-X-based web services that made spatial data capture, analysis, and sharing difficult and siloed. Azimap was brought in to support the migration to a web GIS environment and to help modernize how the council managed and used geographic data.

Azimap delivered the project through consultation, requirements workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions, enabling the council to migrate spatial data, publish dynamic web maps, create custom visualizations, centralize spatial information, and work remotely across departments and devices. The result was improved business processes, better cross-department collaboration, and a more flexible, scalable GIS platform that could support public and internal data sharing more efficiently.
