St. Anthony’s operates two behavioral health hospitals in Wichita and Olathe, Kansas, caring for adults over 50 with conditions like dementia and anxiety. The system needed an electronic health record that could be deployed remotely to minimize COVID-19 exposure, required little on‑site IT support, and had configurable workflows and documentation to meet freestanding psychiatric hospital regulations.

Azalea Health’s cloud-based EHR was implemented remotely with hands-on support and customizable templates so staff could design workflows and avoid lengthy retraining. The rollout, completed by August 1, 2021, has boosted staff satisfaction, reduced paperwork and administrative burden, and freed clinicians to spend more time with patients, with plans to expand the system to ambulatory care and additional hospitals.
