Case Study: GOAL (humanitarian agency) achieves streamlined task management and clearer operational oversight with Ayoa's Mind Mapping

A Ayoa Case Study

Preview of the GOAL Case Study

How humanitarian agency, GOAL, use Mind Mapping to help manage their tasks

GOAL is an international humanitarian agency working in crisis zones to deliver food, restore water, rebuild markets and provide emergency shelter. Faced with a large, complex programme and an unwieldy Issues Log running into the hundreds, GOAL needed a way to coordinate weekly responsibilities across security, compliance, HR, finance, logistics and programmes. They adopted Ayoa’s mind‑mapping software (iMindMap) to help visualize and manage tasks and outstanding issues.

Using Ayoa’s iMindMap, GOAL creates weekly Mind Maps with branches and red flags for due tasks, and a consolidated visual Issues Log that highlights which departments have the most and most critical issues. Updated weekly by the Compliance Coordinator, the maps give senior managers a bird’s‑eye view of progress, cut down the time spent wading through 1,000+ emails and long Excel sheets, and were even showcased at GOAL’s Global Finance Conference — helping the organisation prioritize work on hundreds of outstanding issues more efficiently.
