Hewlett Packard project manager Mark Pohlmann needed a way to manage large, distributed IT projects and collect timely status updates from multiple remote teams. In 2013 he chose DropTask (Ayoa) as the cloud-based collaborative tool to provide an accessible, visual representation of work that everyone could update.
Ayoa’s solution — with nested groups, subtasks, due dates, urgency/importance fields, a visual Task Board and CSV export — gave teams a single place to update status and generate reports. By using Ayoa, Pohlmann drastically reduced the time spent assembling status reports, cut down on phone calls and paperwork, simplified weekly/monthly exports to corporate dashboards, and freed his team to focus on deliverables while producing visually compelling reports for senior management.
