VIZO Technology Builds its WISCON Wi-Fi Smart Switch Using the Ayla IoT Platform

VIZO Technology, a Taiwanese leader in computer peripherals, set out to enter the smart home and smart building markets with its new WISCON Wi‑Fi smart switch — a stylish, LED‑indicator switch controlled via a mobile app. To compete globally and move quickly from design to market, VIZO needed embedded device software, cloud connectivity, app services and robust security without building the entire IoT stack in‑house.

Ayla Networks supplied its IoT PaaS — embedded agents, cloud services, mobile app support and extensible security (backed by AWS) — enabling VIZO to develop and launch the WISCON switch efficiently. The product was finalized for a CES 2017 debut, giving VIZO a market-ready smart switch and ongoing platform support for future improvements and global distribution.
