Freudenberg Home and Cleaning Solutions, part of the Freudenberg Group, faced significant challenges when integrating new machinery into its Czech production plant. Its traditional planning process, which relied on 2D drawings and physical mockups, was slow, prone to error, and led to communication issues with equipment manufacturers. The vendor AYES was engaged to address these inefficiencies.

AYES implemented an XR solution using Meta Quest 3 headsets and JoinXR software to enable realistic 1:1 scale visualization. This allowed the customer to accelerate its machine layout planning process from 1-2 weeks down to just two hours, eliminating the need for floor taping and cardboard mockups. The solution provided placement accuracy within 1-5 cm, improved communication, and was rapidly adopted by employees. AYES's implementation greatly reduced the risk of errors and has led to plans for expanding the technology to other plants and new applications.
