USDA - Customer Case Study

Using Ayasdi's solution, which employs Topological Data Analysis (TDA) methods, the USDA reconstructed the relationship structure of E. coli O157:H7 survival in 32 soils (16 organic, 16 conventional) from California (CA) and Arizona (AZ) with a multiresolution output. The analysis revealed a complex interaction between E. coli O157:H7, soil microbiota, and soil properties in the survival of this pathogen in the soils studied.
