Terras de São José Condominium Improves Security with Axxon One VMS

Terras de São José Condominium in Brazil faced a major security challenge due to its very large property, with more than 1,000 lots, a perimeter exceeding 13 kilometers, and a legacy surveillance system made up of cameras from many different manufacturers. The condominium needed a more efficient platform with AI video analytics to reduce camera complexity, improve monitoring, and help operators focus on critical events. AxxonSoft’s Axxon One VMS was selected to address these needs.

AxxonSoft, working with integrator Protelt Sistemas de Segurança, deployed Axxon One VMS on six servers to manage 300 cameras and integrate devices from the existing system. The solution added motion detection, line crossing, forensic search, LPR, face detection, electric fence integration, virtual tour, and privacy masking. As a result, the condominium improved security accuracy and efficiency, reduced false alarms, cut response times, and lowered the number of cameras needed while giving operators better tools for daily monitoring and incident investigation.
