Case Study: Principe Felipe Science Museum achieves personalized visitor reports and biometric tracking with AxxonSoft FACE-Intellect

FACE-Intellect at the Principe Felipe Science Museum

The Principe Felipe Science Museum in Valencia, together with the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV), needed a way to register visitors’ movements through the "We care about your quality of life" exhibition and include any device-testing results in a personalized printed report at exit. To meet this challenge they implemented AxxonSoft’s FACE-Intellect system integrated with IBV’s own software to capture and identify faces at entry, exit and each exhibition booth.

AxxonSoft deployed FACE-Intellect with ten face-capture cameras and a facial recognition server (200-face database), integrated by installation partner WAF over three months; lighting issues were solved with uniform fluorescent day lighting. The system now logs booth visits and testing outcomes and prints detailed visitor reports, supports a museum with up to 6,000 visitors per week, and has been praised by IBV and museum staff as an effective biometric solution—marking AxxonSoft’s first large FACE-Intellect project in Spain.
