Convém Supermercados, part of the Hakuo Supermarket Chain in Brazil, needed to improve security and operations across its three stores while also supporting better customer experience and data-driven decision-making. To address challenges like theft prevention, queue management, and shopper behavior analysis, the retailer used AxxonSoft’s Axxon One VMS with video analytics.

AxxonSoft implemented a surveillance solution with 235 cameras and features including LPR, retail heatmaps, people counting, and intelligent search. The system improved real-time security monitoring, sped up investigations, helped reduce wait times, and provided actionable data for store layout, staffing, promotions, inventory planning, and marketing efforts.
