The Madrid Stock Exchange (Bolsa de Madrid), owned by Bolsas y Mercados Españoles, needed to modernize its aging video surveillance and public safety infrastructure to improve security, operational efficiency, and support the demands of a busy financial and event venue. After competitive trials, the exchange selected AxxonSoft and its Axxon PSIM platform for its ease of use, broad hardware compatibility, hybrid CCTV/IP support, access control integration, and distributed architecture.

AxxonSoft replaced the old equipment with Axxon PSIM servers and created a unified surveillance system linking the exchange’s headquarters and other systems. The solution now covers about 240 cameras, four video servers, and four remote workstations, enabling simplified operations, stronger monitoring of critical areas, easier management and maintenance, scalability, and 24/7 surveillance while preserving the historic building’s aesthetics.
