Axxon PSIM makes Turin a safer city

The Police of Torino partnered with AxxonSoft to strengthen public safety across Turin, a large city with high-risk areas where drug trade and criminal activity were concentrated. As part of the Safe City Turin initiative, the municipality needed a more effective way to monitor streets and respond quickly to incidents, especially in critical zones and public parks.

AxxonSoft implemented Axxon PSIM as the core of the integrated security system, connecting 1,000 cameras, 50 remote workstations, a police command center, and advanced features such as video analytics, face recognition, ANPR, thermal imaging, and alarm automation. The solution enabled real-time detection and faster response to suspicious activity, including automated alerts, lighting, and loudspeaker warnings, helping the Police of Torino improve coverage of high-risk areas and enhance citywide crime prevention.
