Axxon PSIM Enables Centralized Surveillance at Saker ShopRites supermarkets

Saker ShopRite store, part of Saker ShopRites, Inc., needed a better way to maintain security surveillance across large supermarket spaces while reducing theft risk and keeping video quality high enough for legal evidence. To address these retail loss prevention challenges, the company worked with AxxonSoft and its integration partner Proactive Technology Solutions, using the Axxon PSIM platform for advanced IP video surveillance.

AxxonSoft’s Axxon PSIM solution centralized cameras from each store through IP-networked servers, giving Saker Loss Prevention remote access to video from multiple locations and enabling higher-resolution recording, archiving, and cross-store monitoring. The upgrade improved evidence quality and scalability, and it cut security costs significantly by allowing two staff members to remotely monitor multiple stores instead of staffing each location around the clock.
