Bolsa de Madrid, Spain’s main stock exchange, needed to modernize an aging, underperforming video security infrastructure to support continuous monitoring of its historic trading hall, perimeter coverage and remote access between sites. To meet those requirements the exchange selected AxxonSoft and its Axxon Intellect Enterprise PSIM to provide a scalable, distributed surveillance platform.

AxxonSoft replaced legacy hardware with servers running Intellect, unifying systems across the exchange and headquarters and integrating about 160 cameras, four video servers and four remote workstations with side-by-side displays, hybrid camera support, custom operator panels and macro scripts. The solution enabled 24‑hour surveillance, easier management, cross‑monitoring and faster configuration, delivered measurable scale (160 cameras/4 servers/4 workstations) and strong technical support from AxxonSoft, with plans to extend the system to additional exchanges.
