ShopRite (via Saker ShopRites, which operates 27 supermarkets) faced persistent retail theft and the need to capture high‑quality, long‑term video evidence across stores that typically use 50–100 cameras. To address this, integrator Proactive Technology Solutions selected and deployed AxxonSoft’s Axxon Intellect IP video platform to provide higher‑resolution, centrally managed surveillance and loss‑prevention features.

Using Axxon Intellect, AxxonSoft enabled IP‑networked servers that centralize camera access, high‑resolution recording, and store‑to‑store historical video comparison and POS syncing. The solution let two security staff remotely monitor multiple stores (replacing costly per‑store 24‑hour staffing), reduced security operating costs, improved the quality of footage for prosecutions, and enhanced employee safety during peak periods.
