Case Study: AlbChrome achieves reliable security monitoring for ferrochrome plants with AxxonSoft Axxon One VMS

AlbChrome company’s ferrochrome plants in Albania are under protection of AxxonSoft VMS

AlbChrome, the largest chromite and ferrochrome producer in the region, needed a more stable and reliable video surveillance setup for its two ferrochrome plants in Albania. One site in Elbasan already had cameras installed, but the system suffered from serious performance and stability issues, while the Burrel plant also needed a new solution. AlbChrome turned to vendor AxxonSoft and its Axxon One VMS to support its mining security needs.

AxxonSoft and its partner Synapse ATS deployed Axxon One VMS across both plants, using local servers tied to a single domain and streaming video to a monitoring center in Tirana. The solution now handles 72 cameras across 100,000 square meters at each plant, including 36 cameras streamed over just a 2 Mbps wireless connection. The system has been working flawlessly since installation, with intuitive operation, easy expansion, and built-in video analytics improving efficiency and automation.
