Case Study: Cyfronet AGH achieves 24/7 protection of its supercomputer and intellectual property with AxxonSoft Intellect PSIM

Cyfronet AGH, a major Polish academic supercomputing centre in Krakow that houses the Prometheus supercomputer, needed to protect intellectual property and high‑value computing hardware while maintaining convenient, distributed access for staff. The centre selected AxxonSoft’s Intellect PSIM platform to meet requirements for a monitoring hub, multilayer interactive maps, automatic event processing, and integration with existing access control and alarm systems.

AxxonSoft implemented the Intellect PSIM integrated with Pelco IP cameras and a Honeywell Galaxy Dimension module (installation by TAP – Systemy Alarmowe), unifying video surveillance, alarms, perimeter security, and access control in a single infrastructure. The solution provides non‑stop surveillance of all areas, automated event processing, and centralized monitoring, enabling Cyfronet AGH staff to continue cutting‑edge research while safeguarding data and hardware.
