Allianz France, part of the global Allianz group, faced a fragmented legacy IT landscape and rising customer expectations that demanded greater flexibility and faster innovation. Starting in 2012, the company undertook a broad digital transformation that addressed both culture and technology to overcome the limits of its existing model.

The program combined a group-wide infrastructure renewal and a rebuilt management system (Global One), separated architecture for external channels, and the introduction of an API gateway, alongside a shift to autonomous, empowered teams. By mid-2018 89% of property contracts had been migrated to the new system; customers gained parcel-style claims tracking, agents could focus more on business, delivery cycles shortened to work with startups, and overall security and readiness for future ecosystem competition were strengthened.
