A Axway Case Study
Groupe Henner, a leading French health and life insurer, needed to deliver seamless online and mobile self-service experiences but was constrained by decades-old, batch-based back-office systems (“Henner Net”) that blocked real-time innovation. Replacing those core systems was impractical, so the company sought an approach that would enable rapid digital services without disrupting critical operations.
Groupe Henner adopted AMPLIFY API Management as an integration layer and set up a new architecture team to embed DevOps, agile and cloud practices; in 18 months it built 15 APIs, exposed over 3,000 tables (≈3 TB) and launched next‑generation customer sites for healthcare partners with plans for a brokerage portal offering real-time quotes. The API-driven strategy enabled real-time services, a gradual move toward microservices, improved customer experience and greater agility to strengthen its market position.
