Healthcare solutions provider helps health plan payers create compelling, API-powered digital experiences for members

HM Health Solutions (HMHS) is a technology partner for the healthcare industry that runs a cloud platform used by 13 health plan payers. Facing rising member expectations and regulatory pressure, HMHS needed to liberate and securely expose data from its cloud so clients could build mobile and web experiences, cut duplication across hundreds of services, and speed time-to-market.

HMHS deployed the Amplify API Management Platform from Axway to create a central, secure API catalog, migrate roughly 200 existing services, and apply enterprise-wide security (including OAuth) and governance. The move created a self-service catalog for some 5,000 developers, shifted the company to an API-first product mindset, reduced redundancy, and enabled clients to construct new, personalized digital experiences powered by the HMHS cloud.
