Sopra Steria, a European leader in digital transformation formed by the 2015 merger of Sopra and Steria, needed an industrial, real-time solution to centrally monitor a heterogeneous IT estate spanning 170 sites, ~3,000 devices and 100k–400k events per day. The challenge was to filter massive event volumes to surface only incidents that impact end users, standardize processes across disparate teams, and reduce operational costs through consolidation and offshoring.

Sopra Steria deployed Axway WideVision with a custom Axway Event Manager built on ElasticSearch to collect, analyze and filter events and present service-focused dashboards. The centralized platform and single operations team improved visibility and response times, cut costs by eliminating redundant monitoring teams and enabling offshoring, and delivered virtually limitless event-processing capacity and rapid ROI.
