Axway SecureTransport delivers a secure and easy-to-use file transfer solution for financial customers

Clearstream, part of the Deutsche Börse Group, provides settlement and custody services to more than 2,500 customers worldwide and handles large volumes of instruction and transaction files daily. Because customers ranged from global financial institutions to small specialist firms with very different technology, Clearstream needed a secure, flexible and easy-to-use file exchange service that would not require complex customer-side changes.

Clearstream built its CreationDirect via Internet service on Axway SecureTransport Enterprise, integrating the platform with its back-end systems to provide web-based and client software transfer, PKI support, guaranteed delivery and automation. The solution delivered secure, browser-accessible real-time clearing and settlement data, automated transmissions and reliable large-file transfer; adoption grew quickly (70 users at 35 firms within four weeks) and now connects over 2,000 users across more than 460 companies.
