Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) Provides Secure Data Exchange with Financial Institutions Worldwide

BGL BNP Paribas, a leading Luxembourg bank and member of the BNP Paribas Group, needed to secure an expanding volume and complexity of file exchanges with internal and external partners while reducing administration and maintenance overhead. The bank faced strict security requirements and the challenge of consolidating multiple gateways and protocols into a manageable, auditable platform.

BGL implemented Axway Transfer CFT, Axway Gateway and Axway Sentinel, consolidating exchanges onto two MFT gateways (group/internal and external) and leveraging PeSIT plus sFTP, HTTPS and other protocols via a Transfer CFT hub in Paris with connections to 950 instances worldwide. The solution delivered end-to-end encryption options, centralized monitoring and automated workflows, resulting in policy compliance, faster partner onboarding, global reach, simpler administration and stable staffing despite an ~800% increase in file transfers.
