SlimPay is a Paris-based payment service provider that pioneered SEPA-based recurring payments as the first Authorized Payment Institution in France. As a start-up serving merchants like Nespresso and EDF, SlimPay needed to design and implement a SaaS platform to manage recurring payments, meet evolving SEPA regulations, and handle multiple protocols and formats (PeSIT, SFTP) at scale.

The result was a fast, scalable, highly available SaaS platform that accelerated customer onboarding, offloaded compliance and fraud-management complexity, supported rapid transaction growth (hundreds of thousands monthly) and helped SlimPay process over €500M by 2014 while improving service quality and reducing churn.
