Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office ran a four-month trial of two body-worn video systems to inform the start of a county-wide program and found that end-to-end evidence processing speed was the critical issue. Slow workflows translated into significant officer administrative time (15–20 minutes per shift) and a projected productivity loss of $1,661,772 over five years across 42 deputies.
