Boulder County’s Colorado 20th Judicial District Attorney’s Office partnered with Axon to address the growing challenges of body-worn camera evidence. The office was overwhelmed by massive volumes of video, struggled to obtain affordable transcriptions, and faced compatibility issues with media in different file formats.

Axon implemented Justice Premier, its digital evidence management system, giving the DA’s office secure cloud storage, universal video playback, and free Auto-Transcribe for video and audio evidence. The result was faster sharing, easier handling of third-party media, and more inclusive transcription access for attorneys; with only 38 lawyers serving a community of over 320,000, the efficiency gains were especially valuable.
