Axon and FSET bring Starlink to the Nunavik Police Service

The customer is the Nunavik Police Service (NPS), a remote police force in northern Quebec. Their challenge was an unreliable and extremely slow internet connection, which severely hampered operations and their ability to use digital tools like the Axon Evidence management system. This poor connectivity limited communication and delayed the processing of critical evidence.

To solve this, Axon partnered with FSET to deploy Starlink high-speed satellite internet across all 14 NPS detachments. The solution provided a massive increase in bandwidth and reliability. As a direct result of Axon's intervention, the NPS reported a thousandfold increase in internet speeds. This allowed officers to upload digital evidence in moments instead of hours, drastically improving response times and enabling them to spend more time engaged in community policing.
