TCBX Trucking Inc., a family-owned LTL carrier in Brainerd, MN operating about 25 trucks, faced challenges with driver retention, fragmented paper-based dispatching, and slow access to customer PODs. To modernize and unify operations, TCBX invested in Axon Software in 2008 to replace disparate systems and improve real-time communication between office and drivers.

Axon Software delivered a consolidated dispatch and communications platform that put office information directly in trucks, sped POD retrieval, and simplified training. The result: TCBX increased throughput from about 80 orders/day to roughly 115–120 (over a 40% productivity gain), expanded lanes and fleet without adding staff, improved customer responsiveness, and strengthened driver experience and retention.
