Golden Express Trucking, a Surrey, BC carrier that runs about 25 refrigerated trucks across the Canada/US border, was managing IFTA, payroll, AR/AP and mileage with separate tools and spreadsheets, which led to missed or double billing and reliance on outside help. To solve this they adopted Axon Software’s trucking management system (integrated with PC*Miler for miles) in 2008 to bring operations into a single, detailed platform.

Axon Software centralized load, truck/driver/trailer tracking, payroll and AR/AP, enabling Golden Express to run payroll and billing in‑house and produce transparent driver statements. Since adopting Axon they’ve grown from 12 to 25 trucks while keeping the same four‑person office (the owner estimates they’d need at least two more staff without Axon), reduced billing errors, improved customer document retrieval, and benefited from responsive Axon support.
