D.J. Knoll Transport, a Canada–U.S. carrier serving oilfield and agricultural customers, faced growing operational complexity as it expanded its fleet and needed better tracking, fuel-tax reporting, payroll and customer communication. To solve those challenges they turned to Axon’s trucking software (Axon Trucking Company Software) for integrated fleet management, satellite location downloads and automated fuel and billing data.

The results: D.J. Knoll grew from 12 to 80 trucks while adding only four staff (two dispatchers and two administrative), their payroll person manages 45–50 drivers weekly, the software paid for itself within a year, and the company credits Axon with helping win the 2012 Best Fleets to Drive For award.
