CDI International Inc., a High River, Alberta trucking company operating four divisions, was outgrowing its basic QuickBooks setup and manual processes. Facing slowed communication, delayed reporting and billing, and difficulty scaling operations, CDI sought a single, real-time system to handle quoting, dispatch, billing and tax reporting — and selected Axon Software’s transportation management solution for its functionality and strong support.

Axon Software implemented a real-time Axon system, migrated CDI’s data, and integrated with Cancom satellite tracking and PC*MILER for fuel/tax and routing, enabling same-day invoicing and streamlined fuel-tax handling. The result: staff-wide adoption, month-end financials in about seven days (versus ~45 days previously), faster delivery-to-billing turnaround, tighter receivables (with potential 2–3 day DSO improvements), and the capacity to handle greater volume more profitably thanks to Axon Software’s support and reporting capabilities.
