The Los Angeles Police Department's Counter Terrorism and Special Operations Bureau needed easily deployable, covert surveillance for special investigations and large public events. The installation supports 5–6 intelligence operations per month, protected high‑profile events such as the 12‑mile Endeavour procession and the Academy Awards red carpet, and helped stop a truck from delivering weapons during the Occupy L.A. encampment — demonstrating clear operational and safety impact.
