Conlin Properties improves residential life and their bottom line with Axis network cameras

Conlin Properties, which manages 29 affordable housing apartment complexes in the Greater Des Moines area, needed to improve tenant safety and earn Crime Free Multi‑Housing Program certification. To replace aging analog systems and deter crime, Conlin implemented Axis Communications network cameras as part of a broader security upgrade coordinated with Axis partner ICS Advanced Technologies and Salient Systems.

ICS installed a fiber network and deployed over 500 Axis Communications network cameras (fixed, dome and 360° panoramic models with Lightfinder and corridor formats) managed by Salient CompleteView, with centralized access via ICS’ cloud/Proxy. The Axis Communications solution helped Conlin achieve program certification, produced a 40% drop in incident calls, reduced vandalism and maintenance costs (hallway carpets and paint lasting two+ years longer), improved arrest outcomes and became a selling point that attracts higher‑quality tenants.
