Street Art Museum Amsterdam - Customer Case Study

Street Art Museum Amsterdam began as a community-led street art project that evolved into a formal collecting institution facing new questions about preservation, restoration and public access. To meet requirements for museology practice and ANBI status, and to make their growing collection accessible online, the museum evaluated collection management systems and selected Adlib Museum (Basis) and the cloud service Axiell Collections from vendor Axiell.

Axiell implemented Adlib and the Axiell Collections cloud solution with a demo account and configurable user access, enabling the museum’s one full‑time employee, rotating volunteers and interns to register and manage objects remotely. The change delivered secure cloud backups, multi‑user logins and real-world benefits such as letting an intern continue cataloguing from home after an accident; it also lets the museum store photos, augmented‑reality assets and restoration data in one place, simplifying preservation and future online publication — all provided by Axiell.
