Leading Retailer Company, an enterprise retailer, needed to roll out multifactor and passwordless authentication and a cloud-backed PKI for smart cards and YubiKeys to meet compliance and reduce password reliance. They chose Axiad’s Axiad Cloud to support the MFA project and certificate management across workstations, VPNs, and cloud apps.

Axiad implemented Axiad Cloud with One Click Issuance and device lifecycle management so users can self-issue YubiKeys and manage authenticators (issuance takes about 30 seconds). The pilot is stable and scalable (about 50 users now, targeting ~30,000 by year end), increased user satisfaction, reduced help-desk work, and improved compliance; the customer rates Axiad’s support highly (9/10) and reports successful integrations (e.g., PingFederate, Venafi).
